TEATRO REGIO
Parma
One of the finest opera theatres in Italy, built in the neoclassical style: the duchess Maria Luigia Asburgo Lorena, wife of Napoleone Bonaparte, ordered the construction in 1821.

  • 2 June '22: at 10am, 1pm, 2pm, 4pm, 30 minute guided tours to the foyer, main hall and "palchetti"; at 11am, 12pm, 3pm, 45minute guided tours to the foyer, main hall,  "palchetti" and stage
  • 3 June '22: from 9.30am to 12.30pm (last visit) and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm (last visit). The tours are guided (30 minutes long) and take place every hour. The tour includes: the foyer, the main hall and "palchetti"

Parma
Discover the unique harmony of this theatre located inside Pilotta complex and built entirely in wood in 1618.

CONVITTO NAZIONALE MARIA LUIGIA
Parma
From the merger of the Collegio dei Nobili and the Collegio Lalatta, the Convitto Maria Luigia was built in 1833, housed in the Palazzo dell'Arena, which the court architect Nicola Bettoli had renovated and enlarged by building a theatre that still exists between 1821 and 1829.

TEATRO MAGNANI
Fidenza (PR)
The elegant concert hall, with three orders of boxes, a proscenium enriched with gold and white stuccoes, is one of the highlights of the theatre; It is entitled to the local artist who created dozens of Verdi’s sets.
Magnani also decorated the interiors entirely, including the hall “Sala del Ridotto”.

Busseto (Parma)
Located inside the Rocca, hosted some of young Giuseppe Verdi’s performances. Even though the theatre is entitled to him, Verdi strangely had a complicated relationship with this place.

Polesine Zibello (PR)
The small Italian-style hall in the hearth of Lower Parma is an evolution of the original rougher one commissioned by the Marquis Antonio Pallavicino in 1804.
