Every year in the village of Vigoleno, in the hills on the border between the provinces of Piacenza and Parma, a product of excellence of the area, Vin Santo, is celebrated.
A raisin wine of limited and prized production. Its grapes can only be grown in a limited area between the Stirone and Ongina valleys, near the town of Vernasca.
Producers offer tastings within the castle walls in the spring and fall seasons. For 2024 the spring edition is scheduled for May 11 and 12.
