The beautiful Reggia di Colorno near Parma hosts this exhibition which is a unique event because, for the first time since 1859 - when the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza was abolished and then incorporated into the Kingdom of Italy - this patrimony of artistic objects, belonging to what for centuries had been one of the finest European courts, has finally been collected and displayed.
In particular, the Reggia di Colorno exceptionally returns to host, for this exhibition, the precious porcelains that Louise Elisabeth of France and her husband Philip of Bourbon used for ducal receptions.
