The town is found in the uppermost reaches of the Valle del Dolo, and is the last inhabited settlement before the interesting high altitude woods and meadows of the Reggio peaks.
Civago is the ideal departure point for trips to Abetina Reale, Mount Prado, Mount Cusna and the Forbici Pass to reach the alpine refuges of "Seghirea" and "Battisti".
