Baraccone, a winery run by women (Andreana and Benedetta), makes wines that express the tradition of this terrritory and bear witness to its great vocation for viticulture.
The vineyards are grown under organic management. The clay-rich land, at an elevation of 400 m above sea level, produces powerful wines with good structure. The main varieties used are the red grapes Barbera and Croatina, to make Gutturnio, and Malvasia Aromatica di Candia, the queen of Piacenza's white grapes.
The company is dedicated to wine tourism, providing cellar and vineyard tours, tastings, and cultural events that celebrate the world of wine.
