Volumnia sounds large. In reality, it is massive.
Volumnia is a project of rebirth of an historical and iconic space of the city of Piacenza, whose beauty has been hidden for years. Enrica De Micheli, gallerist with experience in antiques and modern, offers an exhibition space dedicated to Italian mid-century design inside a former renaissance church in the heart of Piacenza, with rows of columns that spring dozens of meters into the air.
The project was born in October 2018 with the opening of the gallery and the first chapter of an intense cultural offer of exhibitions and events, as the solo show dedicated to one of the main Italian design masters Gabriella Crespi.
Visitors and private events will soon experience a Bistrot, which is opening in the space consecutive to the left nave, in a courtyard with unexpected glimpses of an extraodinary architecture.
