An experience for all senses and tastes

The Food Museums turn 20.

In 20 years, as many as 306,317 visitors have flocked to the Food Museums to learn about the history, culture and traditions behind the products that have made Parma and its territory famous and contributed to the creation of the 'Food valley', now known throughout the world. It is no coincidence, in fact, that Parma has been awarded the title of "Creative City for Gastronomy" by Unesco.

The eight museums exhibit a total of 4,215 objects, each of which has a story just waiting to be heard. One of this year's great novelties, and closing the circuit, will be the opening of the Fragno Truffle Museum in the evocative underground rooms of the Calestano Town Hall in the autumn.
