Gropparello castle, one of the oldest in Italy, is nestled in a massive ophiolitic rock, forming a deep and wild gorge all around the castle. Here, you’ll walk the ancient patrol path to discover nature, the evocative panorama and the geological features. The experience will continue with the historical tour of the castle, a Carolingian stronghold transformed into a noble palace during the Rainassance, without destroying the original 12th century medieval architecture. Th castle is currently inhabited by the owner family. The experience will conclude at the Castle Tavern, where guests will enjoy a three-courses lunch consisting of 1 appetiser, 1 main course (a first or a second course) and 1 dessert, all chosen from the menu.
