The Castle of Gropparello is one of the oldest in Italy, dating back to the 9th-12th centuries. Perfectly preserved, it is now inhabited by the owner family, whose members often lead tours of the castle, offering guests an even more exciting and engaging experience, immerse in history, culture and daily life, ghost stories, and the beauty of the surrounding nature.

This package combines a guided tour of the castle with a traditional launch at the Medieval Tavern, the restaurant located in the Castle grounds. Here guests can taste authentic local products from Piacenza and Parma, the hearth of Italy's Food Valley, learning to recognise the flavour of the authentic local products and wines.

This package includes a guided tour of the castle with a three-courses lunch consisting of:

  • 1 appetiser,
  • 1 main course (first or second course),
  • 1 dessert
  • Drinks are not included. 

Every day: guided tour at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch. (Tavern open from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., last seating)
