The Bergonzi Festival, a new initiative dedicated to the memory and artistic legacy of Carlo Bergonzi, one of the greatest tenors of the 20th century, comes to life in Busseto.
It is a project that stems not only from the desire to celebrate an extraordinary artist, but also from a deep spirit of sharing and commitment: the Festival is in fact the result of an important cultural volunteer operation, animated by the passion and dedication of those who believe in the value of music and memory.
The Festival is proposed as an annual event in the period of the anniversaries of the artist's birth and death, with the aim of enhancing his figure and promoting the opera tradition of the territory, returning to the community and the international public a living and vibrant artistic heritage.
The heart of the 2026 programming will be two important operatic events hosted at the open-air theater of the Scuderie di Villa Pallavicino.
Date: Thursday, June 25, 2026
Time: 9 p.m.
Date: Monday, July 13, 2026
Time: 9 p.m.
Before and after both performances, the audience will also be able to enjoy a complete experience in terms of food and wine: in fact, tastings of the typical cured meats of the Terre Verdiane so beloved by the Maestro will be offered, accompanied by a selection of wines from the area, in a journey of flavors that dialogues with the great music and enhances local traditions.
