Festival Illica is a musical event that pays tribute to the illustrious figure of opera librettist and cultured journalist Luigi Illica.
The event returns this year in the enchanting setting of the medieval village of Castell'Arquato, with two shows and a cine-concert, in collaboration with Veleia Teatro, from 3rd to 22nd July.
The festival will open with "My cousin"(Edward Josè, USA, 1918), the only "survived" movie interpreted by Enrico Caruso. The screening of the film will be accompanied by the original music by Daniele Furlati, performed by the Modena Municipal Theatre Ensemble. The following dates will see on the scene Stefano Massini and Sergio Rubini.
