The Park of Villa Raggio in Pontenure, a few minutes from the city of Piacenza, along the Via Emilia, will host an event dedicated to asparagus on the weekend of May 14th and 15th.
This product of the earth cultivated in the plains of Piacenza is protected by a consortium of farmers founded in 2009 to offer a guarantee of quality on the techniques of asparagus cultivation.
The event offers an exhibition market dedicated to garden products, gardening and sustainable living.
The setting of the park allows you to spend a day outdoors, in nature and in contact with the beauty of a nineteenth-century villa and discover an ancient product, arrived from Asia and that only recently has found in the territory of Piacenza fertile ground.
