From the Museums in Rome an interesting Christmas exhibition to enhance the artistic heritage of the city of Piacenza.
Palazzo Farnese will host Pieter Paul Rubens' masterpiece dedicated to the myth of Romolo and Remo from 18th December 2021 to 30th January 2022. The large canvas, loaned by Museums in Rome, is found in the most precious and almost sacred environment of the apartment, magnificently decorated in the second half of the seventeenth century at the behest of Ranuccio II Farnese.
The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Sunday with free guided tours
