From the end of June, we welcome you to ‘Ritmo d'Estate’, an exciting programme of events that brings the heart of the town to life with a variety of unmissable occasions, where Piazza Libertà in Salsomaggiore becomes an open-air theatre to welcome the public.
All events are free.
The event is enriched by the presence of distinguished guests, well-known musicians, artists and performers, who will provide a unique experience.
The 2026 edition features an original show created for the Salsomaggiore festival and dedicated to Ornella Vanoni, starring Monica Magnani. You will also see three other national premieres: the show dedicated to Demetrio Stratos, starring the festival’s director, Marco Caronna, alongside the Toscanini Academy; an evening dedicated to The Beatles; and one dedicated to Pino Daniele.
Among the highlights of this edition are the return of the Fondazione I Musici di Parma, renowned for its refined and engaging performances, and the Orchestra Toscanini di Parma.

A tour featuring a guitar slung over the shoulder, taking in some of rock’s most iconic riffs. Guitarists Morelli, Tuma and Bianchi, accompanied by the voice of Elisa Aramonte, bring music to life through acoustic and electric instruments, ranging from Michael Jackson to The Beatles, from The Police to Jimi Hendrix, from Mario Biondi to Giorgia, via Morandi and Eric Clapton.

The prestigious group of young musicians from La Toscanini pays tribute to Demetrio Stratos, a legend of Italian music. The show explores sound becoming voice and voice becoming sound, evoking the great concert at the Arena Civica in Milan in memory of Stratos and bringing the music right up to the present day.

A show featuring young artists from Area Sanremo, from whom the participants in the Festival’s ‘New Entries’ category will be selected.

The Toscanini Academy brings to the stage a group of 11 wind players, in a big band line-up, to take the audience on a journey through a century of music ranging from jazz to pop and rock.

Monica Magnani, who has collaborated with Eros Ramazzotti and Laura Pausini, will lead a journey through the collective memory of the voices that have graced Salsomaggiore Terme. This programme, in collaboration with the ‘Il Cortile’ Cooperative, begins with the famous vocal trio of the 1940s and pays tribute to Ornella Vanoni.

Four musicians from Toscanini Next rearrange pieces from film scores, from Nino Rota to Morricone.

A familiar face from shows such as Zelig, Colorado and Quelli che il Calcio, but also an actress in films by directors of the calibre of Pupi Avati and Matteo Garrone. Across theatre, television and cinema, she wins over audiences with her biting wit, her talent for improvisation and an authentic, engaging sense of humour.

The Fools on the Hill, a band formed especially for this debut by Stefano Carrara, a multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer. Featuring the vocals of Elisa Aramonte, the show will tell the story of the Liverpool quartet through lyrics and sophisticated arrangements.

Winner of "Tale e Quale Show", Antonio Mezzancella is a versatile artist able to transform himself into dozens of great performers from the Italian and international music scenes, delivering an engaging show featuring impersonations, singing and entertainment.
Sunday 30 August – 9.15 pm – Piazza Libertà
Marco Caronna and Andrea Salvini, accompanied by a band of excellent musicians, will bring to life a Naples that sang and recounted the songs of Pino Daniele, set against the backdrop of Massimo Troisi’s poetry and the legend of Diego Armando Maradona.
