Gastronomic tour to discover the most beautiful gardens of the city in the weekends from the 10-12 of May 2019 to the 1-2 of June 2019.
The event presents a format that combines urban nature, high quality cuisine and culture. Parma has a double soul as it holds the nomination of UNESCO City of Gastronomy, core of the Food Valley with the highest number of local products protected by quality brands and of Italian Capital of Culture 2020.
This is an opportunity to discover the history of the most exclusive gardens and courts exceptionally open to the public (including the Botanical Garden of Parma University, Giardino Pizzarotti in the former Convent of San Cristoforo, Giardino Cortile Dalla Rosa Prati Palace, the Greenhouse of the twentieth century near Ducale Palace…) enjoying the excellent gastronomic offer for dinner, snack or brunch prepared by the chefs of Parma Quality Restaurants in association with the famous food companies of the area and entertained by the music of Verdi Off (info www.parmacityofgastronomy).
Each appointment is open up to 100 guests at 45 euros per person and the tickets are on sale on VivaTicket.
In terms of culture a golden opportunity not to be missed is the exhibition “La fortuna della Scapigliata” from the 18th of May 2019 to the 12th of August 2019 at the Galleria Nazionale for the 500 years of the anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s death. Parma detains the precious painting of the head of a maiden that from the autumn will be exhibited at the Louvre (pilotta.beniculturali.it).
