The imponent Valli Theatre (o Muncipal Theatre), inaugurated in 1857 and entitled to the actor Romolo Valli from 1980, covers a 3.890 metre square area. The plain is like a horseshoe and its composed by 4 orders of stages and the loggia can accommodate 1088 people sitting.

The Valli Theatre hosts an intense and variegated activity thanks to the tools enhancement and modernisation which are on the stage, like the majority of the European theatres, and the assiduous care for the conservation and usage of the spaces which allow to the theatre to operate like a multi box for shows and theatral culture: from the reduced which hosts concerts, exhibitions, conferences, meetings with artists, to a large area of service spaces, partly transformed into the premises of the Archive and the historical disco "Agosti".

The Opera seasons, concerts, dance, musical and little opera are performed here. Also hostes are some titles of the prose season and all musical events which not requiring a significant capacity.
