Rocca di Valle di Castrignano

Rocca di Valle di Castrignano is a Medieval fortified compound, listed building since 2010. The remarkable and pleasant landscape that surrounds the complex has been included since 1985 in “Mounts Bosso e Sporno preserved area” and since 2015 in Unesco MAB reserve.

Rocca di Valle di Castrignano unifies art, agriculture and local culture, thanks to the farm that produces Parmigiano-Reggiano; to “La Rocca Agritourism”, provided with accommodation in one of the historical building of the compound; to the direct sales and tasting of Parmigiano-Reggiano 24, 36, 48 and 60 months old, made by the farm; then to cultural activities such as guided tour to the properties, namely to La Rocca and to “Malavilla” museum, to plantations, to the farm and Parmigiano-Reggiano dairy house.
