From August 30th to September 27th, 2020 a tasty festival spread throughout the territory of Parma and its province.
The rumblings of autumn brings to Parma - the first Italian UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy - the Gastronomic September, scheduled until 27 September.
2020 edition revolves around the chains (Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma Ham, pasta, tomato, anchovies and milk) that have made the "petite Capitale" a giant of taste
The real news, however, is the widespread character of the event, consisting of initiatives including the entire province and seek, where possible, contamination with the universe of music.
Among the endless appointments in calendar, we want to report the charity dinner "Parma meets Genoa" at the Portici del Grano on September 15, the show dinner "In the kitchen with Verdi" on September 24 with the young opera director Gianmaria Aliverta, the thematic weeks dedicated to tomato (until September 5), PDO Parma Ham (September 6-12), PDO Parmigiano Reggiano and milk (September 13-19), pasta and anchovies (September 20-27), Parmigiano Reggiano Festival in Montechiarugolo and the webinar on the Mediterranean diet at the Auditorium Barilla live streaming between 20 and 27 September.
Throughout the month of September, tourists who will stay in one of the accommodation facilities of the city for a period that includes at least Saturday night, will also receive a free "Tasty Box - The Flavors of the Food Valley", with all the products symbol of Parma territory.
