Wine galore

Wine galore

The culture of wine runs through the streets of Emilia in Parma, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia.

It is not just a question of colours that change the landscape but also a poem of aromas, a symphony of notes and a bouquet of perfumes around that product that makes everything Emilian, which is wine.

Proud but not jealous of its traditions, the area including the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Piacenza is not just the cradle of typical PDO and PGI products famous all over the world, but also the land of renowned DOP wines: Lambrusco, ruby red,, sincere and sparkling, but also Gutturnio, Rosso Colli di Parma and the white wines such as the splendid Malvasia, Ortrugo and Spergola, an ancient vine increasingly appreciated for aperitifs.

The wines of Emilia are evaluated by the Consortium Strada dei colli piacentini, by the Consortium Strada del prosciutto e dei vini dei colli di Parma and by the Consortium Strada dei vini e dei sapori delle corti reggiane .
