Fornasetti. Theatrum Mundi
Pilotta Monumental Complex - Parma
The exhibition puts the architectures and works of the Pilotta into dialogue with the imagery of Piero and Barnaba Fornasetti, creating a real ‘theatre of the world’: a network of iconographic references and cultural suggestions which reveals the intellectual status of the exhibits and images on display, making their thickness visible and giving universal and exciting implications. The exhibition is a real layered journey between classic and modern, between past and present.

Summer of the Pievi
Parma and province
Concerts, guided tours and shows in a naturalistic, architectural and spiritual context out of the ordinary are the fundamental ingredients of the Summer of the Pievi, a journey to discover a heritage to be discovered and rediscovered in the Parma area of the area also promoted by Visit Emilia.
The Province of Parma - which designed it for Parma 2020 + 21 - and the Municipalities that take care of its organization invite you to follow an ideal itinerary which, from Sunday 26 July to Friday 18 September 2020, sees some of the most iconic buildings in a thousand-year history become protagonists of a very rich program that casts a new and profound light (artificial or natural, depending on the time) on a theory of authentic jewels.
From the Church of Moragnano to the Pieve of Barbiano, up to the Cathedral of Berceto and Badia Cavana, the churches, often rich in works of art and decorative plants that recall their period of maximum splendour between the ninth and twelfth centuries, are reinvented as extraordinary location for shows, concert halls or, simply, environments to be explored thanks to authoritative and expert voices.

Ligabue & Vitalioni. Give voice to nature
Tarasconi Palace - Parma
Antonio Ligabue and Michele Vitaloni share a particular empathy with the animal kingdom and while narrating its wonders, they investigate human nature. Especially when we talk about artistic inspiration, these two amazing interpreters draw their powerful representations from that instinctive and primordial part that matches the humans to the animals. When we hear the tiger’s roar we may run away or we may find a place to raise that voice.
