For over 30 years, "Pasqua ne' Monti" is one of the most important events of the Reggio Apennines: gastronomy, solidarity, music, and entertainment for children and adults.
Soul of the event the traditional game of the "Scusin" the challenge of colored hard-boilded eggs that, in turn, must be hit between them, on the tip.
The one that breaks is defeated and becomes the prize for the winning opponent.
Over 6000 colorful eggs that are prepared every year for this fascinating event that animates the townships of the Old Town.
EASTER AT SAN BIAGIO CHURCH

Parish church of San Biagio in Talignano (Parma)
The church is considered a small jewel of the Romanesque style, built in the twelfth on the collateral route of the Via Francigena.
Of note is the high relief placed in the lunette above the entrance door, depicting the PSYCHOSTASIS, that is the weighing of the souls: St. Michael is depicted while weighing the souls and taking them away from the demons.
Extraordinary opening from 3 pm ot 6 pm, with guide in Italian and English.

Labyrinth of Masone of Franco Maria Ricci in Fontanellato (Parma)
On Easter and Easter Monday, the “Labirinto della Masone” offers to adults and children the opportunity to spend a wonderful day immersed in the labyrinth, discovering a unique location in the world and a particular bamboo tree.
Various activities will take place during the entire day, depending on the age of the public.
The young people can have fun with themed workshops, the children from 5 to 12 will go in search of the "Botanical Treasure" and their parents can take part in a guided tour about the art collection of Franco Maria Ricci.

The cisitors will take the opportunity to discover the Rocca and its secrets with two exceptional guides: two noble women who lived right in the manor and know both famous and unknown anecdotes.

THE PATH OF VICEDOMINI

Groppovisdomo of Gropparello (Piacenza)
Now in its fourth edition, the path of the Vicedomini is a non-competitive march of 6, 12 or 18 km, which winds through the territories of the high valleys of the Chero and Riglio torrents.
The route opens to the tourist the sweet landscapes of the Piacenza Apennines with glimpses of remarkable naturalistic interest.
The period of the event allows to particularly appreciate the biodiversity of the flora and fauna of the area.
The march with free departure from the sports field of Groppovisdomo and with refreshment point every 5 km, brings back to the tourist, on a well-marked route, the atmosphere of the past.
You walk along paths once used by old farmers and travelers who moved on foot to reach their destination.
In order to revive the old atmosphere, the historical routes of communication were opened that allowed, for example, to reach from the various points of the valley, the "oil mine" of Montechino which, until 1950, represented an important quarrying area, social and economic importance.
At 12.30 it will be possible to have lunch based on typical local products.

THE WELL OF SANT'ANTONINO

Santa Maria Church in Cortina via Verdi, Piacenza
A unique possibility: to climb down and see what remains of the Roman Age in Piacenza.
A travel along 1700 years at the depth of 4.5 meters, which brings to the hypogeum where the Christian tradition thinks that the relics of Saint Antonino were found.
This underground room is opened for the first time to the public, it is possible to enter one by one, using lashings and descending by a ladder.
Before reaching the hypogeum, in the church, a video explains the story of the Saint, patron of Piacenza, and the legend about this tomb.
