Open 2019 is placed in a metaphorical threshold between inside and outside: tradition and invention; memory and research; light and shadow; home and travel.
A threshold where diversity is like friction: it allows the movement of things.
The projects of the festival do not talk about the moon, but they are over it.
And from that perspective they scrutinize things. Sometimes looking beyond: spaces, darkness and light, children, curvatures, water, the future.
Sometimes looking back, and inside, the memory, the past from which to start again.
