The Busseto Festival Guareschi offers the ideal Emilian experience between cinema, cultural landscapes, food and other local excellences

The Busseto Theatre, a true gem among Italian opera houses, will host the third edition of Busseto Festival Guareschi, from 7 to 28 November 2020, streaming mode. The focus will be on Italian society told by great filmmakers, Emilian by birth or adoption, such as Guareschi, Bernardo Bertolucci and Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Four rendez-vous with cinema: November 7, 14, 21 and 28; two exhibitions; a surprise in the churchyard of Chiesa Collegiata di San Bartolomeo and special guided tours to Archivio Guareschi in Roncole. All events will be held in compliance with Covid-19 preventive measures.

In November, the trattorias in Parma lowland offer a menu that would have made both Don Camillo and Peppone happy (Guareschi's most renown characters)
